Amazing rental for a staycation!!

The host was extremely helpful and easy to work with. I had no problem adding an extra day and doing an early check in. We had a group of 16 which included 5 families that had their own room with attached bathroom. Everyone had plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable. The bars on the bunk beds were hard for the younger kids to climb up. The kitchen was fully stocked and also has 2 crock pots, 2 griddles, cutting boards, and multiple cookie sheets. However, there was no laundry soap and a small container of dish soap and limited cleaning supplies. Mike’s grocery store is less than 10 minutes away which made it convenient to grab items that were forgotten. The swimming pool and hot tub was a fun activity for the kids and adults! Make sure to bring your own beach towels and goggles for kids. The kids loved the slide and playroom in the house!!! The playroom has its own tv and bean bag chairs.

We LOVED staying at the Silo. The house had plenty of room to accommodate our family. The kids enjoyed the slide. It is close to the beach, ATV trails, and town. The indoor swimming pool was a hit.

Great place for large groups! Loved that there wasn't really a "best" room. Makes picking rooms easy. Especially nice that they all have king beds and their own ensuite baths. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This property is amazing and works perfectly for large groups. The pool house was awesome and we loved swimming. We were sad the hot tub wasn’t working, but they did send someone out right away to look at it. The beds were very comfortable and there was lots to do. We had a great time! Would definitely stay here again.

This home was perfect for my family of 26. We celebrated an early Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday and the house accommodated everything we needed to pull off this time together. Perfectly stocked and there was something for everyone to do from the pool to the playroom. I highly recommend Spencer’s place. Will rent again.

Great stay overall, lots of fun memories were made! We did have the furnace and Wi-Fi not working when we got there they brought us space heaters and fixed it within about 12 hours. I wish they supplied soap (besides hand soap) shampoo and conditioner for the bathrooms. We’ve stayed at much cheaper ones that always supply this. And the kitchen didn’t even have salt and pepper. I would’ve left all that we bought for the place but it looks like they clean everything out when they clean it, they did state in the listing that they don’t but some simple things would go along way (cooking spray, tinfoil, a few basic spices). The pool is so much fun we had the best time swimming and soaking in the hot tub. Loved the layout of the house it was very comfortable.

We had a great weekend, just what we needed! I would definitely recommend checking the weather if you book in the winter, but that was on us!! We DID enjoy watching the snow through the beautiful open window areas! My only complaint is that the pool and hot tub were in another shared building... Looking back at the description, the pool DOES say shared, the hot tub does not. I'm not sure I would spend that much again without a private pool or hot tub. On the plus side, my family LOVED the pool, the set up was great! Our littles LOVED the huge indoor slide inside the cabin! That was actually what drew us to the Silo... That gets a BIG thumbs up! Our hosts were awesome, (I apologize for ALL of the messages, the weather was HORRIBLE!) the welcome gift was appreciated. 🙂

Could not sleep for the first night after long trip, the smoke detectors at the first and middle bed room where peeping all night, tried to call no one pick up the phone, did not get the pool access code till 9:30 pm the first day, pool has no towels as you need to being your own, water heater pot was on the pictures but it is not there, remote control for the the living room upstairs is not there, dog pops wall the way around the house drive ways, patio was full of snow, grill is full of remaining food from previous guest and had cylinder was empty?, would you imagine paying 3371 for a house with all this???????

Beautiful property with a lot of extras. The pool was amazing and well cared for. The children loved the upper floor playhouse and slide. We all loved the drinking fountain in the kitchen. The decor was lovely. Lots of seating areas with cozy couches. A family park is up the road with a playground, fishing pond, and many pickle ball courts. It was cooler and raining in early June, but we had planned on that. We did get in mini golf and regular golf. Both are nearby. Delicious milkshakes in town. The rooms are more dorm like (don't picture college dorms) with large beds and bunkbeds. Master bedroom is the only really private room. That was on me though. I was looking for a large place and this fit what I needed.

As a grandparent, finding a place to hold a family reunion that would tickle the fancy of each person attending, whether a toddler ‘tween’ager or adult, was at the top of my list. I was also looking for five masters with each room containing enough comfortable beds to fit each of my four children’s families with one bedroom for me. Of course, that meant that each bedroom should have its own en suite. I wanted a large kitchen which would accommodate our entire clan for meals. An indoor pool, hot tub, and kiddie pool was also on my list. It would be a bonus to have it be pristine, luxurious, and magazine cover ready as well. Spencer K must have the uncanny ability to see into the future, because his silo house was built to satisfy my every desire for our family reunion. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great place for our big group. Wish it had a few details to minimize what we had to get from the store- dish soaps, bath soaps, etc. Besides that it was a great stay. Close to the park, pickleball, Garden city main st. A few cleaning details (yellow shower curtains), repaired Sheetrock damage would make this place a shining star.

This is the third stay for our family with your company. Once at the Farmhouse, and twice at the Silo. We had a very good experience the first couple of times (with the exception of the AC not working properly in the Silo during the summer months) when it first opened. We were disappointed during this visit with the condition, #1 one of the upstairs bedrooms had a baby bottle with moldy formula which had dripped onto the bedding and moldy in the bottle when we arrived, # 2 the pool and hot tub were visibly dirty and water was not clean. It was not up to the standards of a luxury property or what we had experience at our previous stays. One of the big draws for us is having access to a semi private pool and hot tub which we did not use much this time due to the current conditions.
